Women’s Body Trust Coaching

Coaching Sessions Agreement

Thank you for choosing Women’s Body Trust Coaching to support you and your health. I’m looking forward to working with you.

Below is a Coaching Agreement. This is an informal agreement (not a legally binding document) that helps set expectations and responsibilities for our coaching sessions together.

Please read and accept the Coaching Agreement before your first coaching session.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Charlotte.

WHAT IS COACHING?

Coaching is a partnership (defined as an alliance, not a legal business partnership) between the Coach and the Client, who are committed to a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the Client to maximise their personal and professional potential.

This Agreement is entered into by and between the “CoachCharlotte Osborn, Women’s Body Trust Coaching, DipCoaching(Nutr/Health), Coaching(WomensHealth), and the “Client” [you], whereby the Coach agrees to provide Health & Wellbeing Coaching Services for the Client.

MY COACHING COMMITMENT TO YOU

As Coach, I commit to:

  • Partnering with you in a thought-provoking and creative process designed to support your goals and help you reach your fullest potential.

  • Being fully present and focused on you during our sessions and respecting your right to self-determination. You will ‘drive’ the session while I will support you as your ‘co-driver’.

  • Upholding professional standards and duty of care in my role as a Health Coach.

  • Adhering to the ethical guidelines and standards set out by the International Coach Federation (ICF).

  • Respecting your privacy at all times. All information you share will remain confidential, and any records will be securely stored.

As a Coach, I am not able to guarantee results. Outcomes are created by your courage and determination to take action.

YOUR COMMITMENT AS THE CLIENT

For our Coaching Relationship to achieve the maximum result, you, as the Client, agree to:

  • Acknowledge I am responsible for my own physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, as well as for the decisions, choices, actions and results I create.

  • Understand that the Coach is not liable for any actions or inaction, or any direct or indirect results of the services provided.

  • Stay open, communicate honestly and be receptive to feedback and support.

  • Commit the necessary time and energy to participate fully in the coaching process, recognising that our sessions are a safe place to explore what I want and what it will take to get there.

  • Understand that the power of coaching is effective when I stay committed. If coaching is not working for me, I will communicate this clearly and take action to improve the experience.

  • Inform any relevant healthcare provider who is currently caring for me of my work with my Coach.

  • Be on time for all appointments and notify the Coach with at least 24 hours' advance notice if I am going to miss an appointment.

  • Understand that appointments missed without at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled at the Coach’s discretion and could incur a cancellation fee.

I understand that Coaching is not:

  • A form of therapy, nor a substitute for therapy. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure mental health conditions or medical issues.

  • A replacement for professional advice from qualified legal, medical, mental health, or other licensed professionals. I will seek appropriate guidance from those experts when needed.

REFERRALS AND ADDITIONAL SUPPORT

If the Coach believes, or if the Client suggests, that additional support from another qualified professional would benefit them, the Coach will recommend that the Client make an appointment with the appropriate provider.

With the Client’s permission, the Coach may request to use their name and contact details (phone or email) to help facilitate the referral and ensure continuity of care. No other information will be shared or stored. The Client may also be contacted by a credentialing body to verify the coaching sessions.

CONFIDENTIALITY

  • The Coaching Relationship is built on trust. All information shared by the Client, whether verbal or written, is treated with the utmost respect and privacy.

  • The Coach agrees to keep all conversations and Client information confidential, under the International Coach Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics.

  • Please note that the Coaching Relationship is not legally confidential in the same way as relationships in medicine or law, and it is not protected under legal privilege.

  • No personal ideas or information about the Client will be shared without the Client’s written consent, in compliance with privacy laws and the Coach’s duty of care.

  • The Coach will not disclose the Client’s name or use them as a reference without their explicit permission.
